A Solid Start for Hart
Flyers goalie Carter Hart got the start and made it count, making some crucial saves early on to keep the Rangers at bay. His solid play set the tone for the rest of the game.
The Flyers' offense got going in the first period with a power-play goal from James van Riemsdyk. The veteran forward used his quick release to beat Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin and give Philadelphia an early lead.

Flipping the Script
The Rangers managed to tie the game up midway through the second period, but the Flyers quickly flipped the script. With just over a minute remaining in the frame, Travis Konecny notched his seventh goal of the season to put the Flyers back ahead.
The third period saw the Flyers add some insurance with an empty-net goal from Scott Laughton. The Rangers' attempt to mount a comeback fell short as Hart continued to shut the door.

Final Score: Flyers 3, Rangers 1
The Flyers' victory was their fourth in a row and marked a statement win against a quality opponent. Philadelphia's stingy defense limited the Rangers to just one goal on 25 shots, while Hart made 24 saves to improve his record to 11-5-2.The win also saw the Flyers move into third place in the Metropolitan Division standings. With their sights set on the playoffs, Philadelphia will look to build on this momentum as they take on the Boston Bruins next.
